Can you feel it, see it, hear it today?
If you can’t, then it doesn’t matter anyway
You will never understand it cuz it happens too fast
And it feels so good, it’s like walking on glass
It’s so cool, it’s so hip, it’s so right
It’s so groovy, it’s outta sight
You can touch it, smell it, taste it so sweet
But it makes no difference cuz it knocks you off your feet
You want it all but you can’t have it
It’s cryin’, bleedin’, lying on the floor
So you lay down on it and you do it some more
You’ve got to share it, so you dare it
Then you bare it then you tear it
You want it all but you can’t have it
It’s in your face but you can’t grab it
It’s alive, afraid, a lie, a sin
It’s magic, it’s tragic, it’s a loss, it’s a win
It’s dark, it’s moist, it’s a bitter pain
It’s sad it happened and it’s a shame
You want it all but you can’t have it
It’s in your face but you can’t grab it
What is it?
IT’S IT!
What is it?
EPIC
Summer!!!
Well hello there tumblr!
It has been a while! Let me start of by saying “Its Summertime baby!”
This season started of with BLAST! for me and hopefully will end well too!
Man, I shouldve started doing this, this morning coz im so freakin sleepy right now..
okay I promise to write something readable and has more content next time…
-Ciao for now!
Passin’ the kind buds.
Kickin’ back in the sand in the sun.
To be alive is lovin’.
Where the shore meets the sea.
Man I’m hummin’ I’m hummin
I’m free as I stare at the sea.
And I’m not comin’ down.
The world is yours once you have found.
The good is to share.
Which is elsewhere.
The beauty of green is where light is now broken by what it touches.
Remembering what you once had told me hit home.
And hasn’t it always been so.
I’m free as I stare at the sea.
And I’m not comin’ down.
The world is yours once you have found.
The good is to share.
Which is elsewhere.
Like I said before I’ll say it once more.
Knew you would make me feel so good.
Wanna do you right.
Can’t get enough.
This is the stuff
life’s about and it trips me out.
Wanna do you right.
Waiting for the bus
I’ve standing here waiting for the bus
On a Saturday laundry on my back
Ultraviolet rays like i’m posing for a shot
In a magazine what the hell does it mean?
I’m a travelling man straight from the can
I’m a thousand miles away from my number one fan
My folks are getting tight won’t let me out at night
You can’t avoid the complications
When there’s no reason at all
When the lightning strikes we fly
I’ll drink my beer i’ll wipe my tears
Southbound in the sky
Another crime another reason gets you everyday
The only time that you can talk
You ain’t nothing to say
Well i’m caught up in a stupid game
That i can’t play
It’s just a waste of time but i’m in anyway
I’ve been sitting here watching the signs
Too many cars at night belching in the moonlight
We’re doing ninety as the sky turns to grey
The people look like bees buzzing by the highway
The wheels are rolling like a rolling stone
Alone i choose the road less traveled on
Now i’m lying here waiting for the day
On the second deck
Dreaming of a girl from a fairytale
Chain around my neck
A ride is all it takes but pain gets in the way
Emptiness the starting point. — In order to taste my cup of water you must first empty your cup. My friend, drop all your preconceived and fixed ideas and be neutral. Do you know why this cup is useful? Because it is empty.
A goal is not always meant to be reached, it often serves simply as something to aim at.

Te Recusare Non Sinam ( a book review by me)

Okay I don’t know how to do this properly so I’m just gonna blab about my experience reading the book, and we’re talking about Bob Ong’s (if im not mistaken) 8th book Ang mga kaibigan ni mama Susan ladies and gentlemen.
I got my copy at a powerbooks store at the mall of asia, pasay city when me and my workmates decided to go xmas shopping for our little exchange gift. When we entered the store I saw this little purple book beside a small silver book (which I guessed from the start was Bob Ong’s Kapitan Sino) then immediately grabbed one and read the title, when I first saw it “Ang mga kaibigan ni mama Susan”, I thought “hmmm, might be a book about prostitutes and stuff because the first thing that came into my mind when I saw the words “mama susan” was a beer house’s floor manager”, you know the one who kinda acts like a pimp for beer house dancer’s (and dont act dumb!) but I was so wrong. And also I was intrigued and puzzled why it had Latin notes at the cover and a creepy old person image at the back, So when I got to the bus on my way home I quickly peeled off the plastic cover and immediately went to the first page and there I saw it the first cryptic line on the book “Huwag mong bibigkasin ang hindi”. and I thought “What the hell? may ganun pa?” then I read on, It was a freaking diary! the first entry was about the main character’s dream and then I knew that this is something different from what Bob Ong had wrote before.
I won’t give any spoilers so that you will find out what kind of book this is.
The book is about a college boy who had a very tough life and just wants to find his place in society but due to a series of unfortunate events (lemony is that you?) had to face and endure life’s harsh punishment and when he thought he had already found refuge at the province, things take a turn for the worst.
The book still has the funny elements that made Bob Ong books very famous, It has the things that normal pinoys at my age group has experienced before like watching MTB (Magandang Tanghali Bayan) and ditching school to play computer games, even the main character’s expressions are very much human and very pinoy.
And also If you watch anime you will also appreciate this book because Mr. Bob Ong even quoted Cowboy Bebop’s Spike Spiegel. Very nice!
Let me just tell you guys something, If you ever have visited an old-spanish era house that is located at the outskirts of your province, that has so many altars and rooms, and have seen a very creepy lola like the artist that usually plays as a multo on pinoy horror movies (yes, the one that has no teeth) and have had nightmares before and dreamed that someone is trying to choke you or is putting something very heavy on your chest but you cant see who it is and all you see is a shadow, If you have ever been to the province during lent season and have seen old ladies gather for a Pasyon. These things definitely will help you out with visualizing this book. Because without imagination a story book is nothing but a bunch of papers with squiggles on it. (I dont know if any one has quoted that but I just thought of it). And also If you understand Latin good thing for you because you can understand parts of the book that I did not, I had to get help from google translation and asked one of my workmates to translate some of the things that are written on the book. (fortunately he knows a little latin)
The story is not that solid but it will definitely entertain you and will keep you reading until you finish it. (It’ll only take a couple of hours) As I’ve said the theme is very pinoy and it kind of mixed the old era with the new one, comparing how simple life is at the province and the complexity of city-living. I just wish there was more details about what the main character was writing about.
All in all this is so far one of the best “try to scare you” books that I have read, the price as usual is very reasonable, you will definitely get more than what you had bargained for. I do suggest reading the book before you go to sleep for full effect.
